Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry
The ODAFF protects and educates consumers about Oklahoma’s agricultural and livestock productions. Its purpose is to develop and execute policy on farming, agriculture, and food. It aims to meet the needs of farmers and ranchers, promote agricultural trade and production, work to assure food safety, protect natural resources, foster rural communities, also to meet the needs of Oklahomans.
Oklahoma Department of Commerce
The ODOC is the primary economic development arm of the state government. The Commerce Department’s mission is to increase the quantity and quality of jobs available in Oklahoma by supporting communities and the growth of existing businesses and entrepreneurs, attracting new businesses, and promoting the development and availability of a skilled workforce in Oklahoma. Among its tasks are gathering economic and demographic data for business and government decision-making, issuing patents and trademarks, and helping to set industrial standards.

The Health Department is charged with the protection and promotion of health of the citizens of Oklahoma, to prevent disease and injury and to assure conditions for good health, oversees both physical and mental health as well as substance abuse and health care.
