Quality 101 Workshop
- Workshop Description
What is Quality to your organization? Is it meeting your customer specifications? Improving processes in your facility?
The Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Center (FAPC) will be hosting QUALITY 101. This highly interactive workshop can be used to train employees, management, supervisors, or quality assurance professionals for your facility.
As the supplier criterion evolves so has the need to establish more than the traditional Food Safety and Sanitation Program. Customers are looking for their suppliers to provide an ongoing and improving Quality System that enhances Food Safety and Sanitation programs. The QUALITY 101 workshop will be presenting the Quality principles that establishments need for their next level of meeting customer requirements.
Identifying various ways of recognizing quality, seeing the costs of quality, finding your internal customer, and learning new tools to be used in process improvement teams are just a few of the basic principles that will be highlighted at the QUALITY 101 workshop.
Quality in food processing plants in Oklahoma should be systematic. Quality should be a way of managing an operation to continuously improve the quality of processes that provide a product that meets specifications as well as add value to your company and your customers. By bringing a new level of quality to your organization can change the way employees think about their jobs by focusing on the customer. Quality is the tool that allows for the implementation of improvements or changes the way a company operates by focusing on the needs and expectation of the customer.
Plan to attend or send participants from your facility to Quality 101. This program will give new insights to Quality and prepare your personnel for improvement initiatives at your facility.
